Naming Names 

Out of the past I came seeking
my kin, my blood, my bone, my
marrow . . . searching throughout
my 20s, my 30s, my 40s, my 50s
searching in my 60s and into
my 70s
and yet, when
I found you, you would
not embrace me

I came not seeking
fame . . . I came not
seeking wealth . . . I came to
do no harm, I
came seeking a name
